Spring Show

The show is open to all members of Gate City Figure Skating Club and Gate City Learn to Skate.

Mark your calendars for rehearsals:

Attendance is Mandatory at ALL rehearsals:

Show practices to be held on Friday evenings OR Saturdays during the day

Once all applications have been received rehearsal schedules will be distributed

Friday evenings at 6:00pm (3/14, 3/21, 3/28)

Saturdays at either 11:00 – OR – 11:55am (3/15, 3/22, 3/29)

Mark your calendars for key dates:

March 29th - Picture Day (More details to follow)

TBD - Opening Number practice (GCFSC MEMBERS ONLY)

April 4th - Mandatory Dress Rehearsal

Show Fees

The application fee of $165.00 per skater ($125 for 2nd family member) includes:

Your costume, tights for female skaters, a personalized show T-shirt, all rehearsal ice and coaching fees.

Important information about costumes!

All applications must be submitted with costume measurements. If you prefer to have your skater measured by a board member, please attend one of the following measuring days:

COSTUME MEASUREMENTS WILL BE TAKEN DURING THESE TIMES!

Wed. 1/29 3:30 - 6:15pm OR Sat. 2/1 9:00 - 11:00am

COSTUME MEASURING GUIDE

  1. Bust - Measure around the fullest line of the bustline

  2. Waist - Measure around the smallest part of the waist

  3. Hips - Measure around the middle of hips

  4. Girth - Measure around trunk of the body. Start at left shoulder in the front, through legs to left shoulder in the back

General admission the day of the show is payable to Conway Arena and is not included in show fees.

Groups will be determined by each skater’s test level by the February 1st deadline. We will try to accommodate all siblings within the same practice time slot.

Any representing member of the GCFSC who has passed their Intermediate Freestyle test by the February 1st deadline is eligible for a solo in the show!

 

Space is limited! Applications are due by Wednesday, February 1st!

A $10 late fee will be added to late applications.

(GCFSC reserves the right to refuse applications received after the deadline)
